We're looking for a System Administrator to be part of our growing core team.

As System Administrator you will play an important role in helping to develop a highly scalable SaaS application. You must have solid communication skills, be detail oriented, and show leadership and an exemplary work ethic.

Overview

The Systems Administrator will:

  • Administer a Linux server in an AWS Cloud environment
  • Ensure parity between Dev, staging, and production environments
  • Be responsible for the company’s Patch Management process
  • Be responsible for maintaining security and compliance
  • Be responsible for backups and DR tests
  • Evolve the Agentis Cloud architecture
  • Manage and provision cloud servers and services

Required Skills

  • Experience with AWS, Google Compute, or MS Azure
  • Experience supporting Active Directory, Domain Controllers in a business environment, specifically with Mac clients
  • Scripting and automation techniques such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet or other automation techniques
  • Helpful to have exposure to big data solutions, ie Hadoop, Spark, AWS Kinesis
  • Experience with Cicso, Sophos, technologies
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience

Front End Engineer

We're looking for a Front End Engineer to be part of our growing core team.

As a Front End Engineer you will play an important role in helping to develop a highly scalable SaaS application. You must have solid communication skills, be detail oriented, and show leadership and an exemplary work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Experience writing applications using MVC frameworks
  • Expert at object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
  • Portfolio and code samples showing work that demonstrates OOP concepts
  • HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Working knowledge of Git
  • Focus on front end development
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Helpful if You Have

  • A passion for web development and an interest in sharing that with others
  • Demonstrated ability to develop highly scalable Web applications
  • Most likely the successful candidate will be someone who has a computer science background with considerable industry experience.
  • Good understanding of at least one of the following:  JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

About You

You are a passionate, creative, (FUN!), tech-savvy marketer with a solid understanding of both digital and print media.  You have a passion for the tech industry and are ready to dive into a new challenge. This role is designed for someone who wants to drive long-term strategy, and who is also able to roll up his or her sleeves as the trailblazer for our marketing team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with leadership to develop and implement marketing strategy and lead marketing initiatives within the organization
  • Manage several marketing initiatives while collaborating cross-functionally with the Agentis team to effectively complete marketing activities
  • Build out an editorial calendar and be able to produce content such as: white papers, case studies, blog posts, infographics, data sheets, etc.
  • Create effective messaging campaigns and thought leadership pieces to showcase the Agentis brand
  • Bring your artistic ideas to life through our web page and media outlets and through collaborating with design teams, videographers, and print vendors
  • Collaborate directly with Agentis customers to customize our platform in accordance to their messaging and branding needs
  • Develop and implement fresh ideas as to how we position ourselves within the energy industry and among our customer base
  • Partner with sales team to support RFP process, and work to develop effective tools to measure success
  • Work with leadership to build out calendar of events: help leaders to prepare Powerpoint presentations, speaking materials, and collateral for events
  • Create appealing presence for trade shows, as well ordering of swag items to be distributed at any events
  • Be a liaison to all Agentis-affiliated professional organizations

Experience We’re Seeking

  • A Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three to five years of marketing experience in a fast-paced environment. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Supporting SaaS based business for 1-2 years.
  • Microsoft Office is required.
  • Experience with InDesign, full Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Variation and competency in writing styles: Voice, audience, media, RFPs.
  • Understanding of the Chicago Manual of Style.
  • Salesforce/CRM experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work well with and nurture relationships across a variety of teams, customers, and outside vendors.
  • Ability to make and manage budgets and find creative and cost-effective ways to increase brand awareness.
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with customers and outside organizations.
  • Operates with an attention to detail and exhibits high ethical standards in a fast-paced environment at all times.

About You

You are an experienced, high performing sales contributor looking for the next step in your career as the Director of Sales for Agentis. Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the field
  • Minimum of three to five years of sales experience selling software or technology-based services
  • Any people management is experience is a plus

About You

You are an entrepreneur looking to keep pushing the envelope and you’re on your way to starting your own company. We're looking for a full stack engineer to be part of our growing core team. You'll work on everything from front-end styling to server-side logic to writing unit tests. You'll work with Product Managers and Designers to determine functionality, look, and feel. You should be able to debug problems at every level of the stack, from browser to application, database and server.

As a full stack engineer you will play an important role in helping to develop a highly scalable SaaS application. You must have solid communication skills, be detail oriented, show leadership and an exemplary work ethic. You have full stack experience working within the LAMP stack with exposure to the various PHP frameworks, and other e-commerce platforms. You know how to work in both a freeform and structured environment.

Tech Experience

  • LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • MySQL Database design and optimization
  • Object Oriented design/programming in PHP
  • Beta-testing procedures and best practices pertaining to web usability
  • Version Control using Git
  • Ability to integrate using many forms of API's
  • Ability to identify, suggest and design areas for software improvement

  • Browser issue resolution and compatibility
