Thank you for your interest in Agentis and for taking the time to learn more about our Company. We are a Smart Grid technology company focused on helping consumers of energy control an often under-managed resource. We are excited to share our corporate vision and the advantages our energy engagement platform can provide to you or your end customers.
On March 31, 2010 the Pew Center released a report documenting best practices in corporate energy efficiency entitled "From Shop Floor to Top Floor: Best Business Practices in Energy Efficiency." We believe many of the lessons from the report can also be tied into a residential strategy. Links to this report are available in our news section of the website or at www.pewclimate.org. To highlight a few important quotes, "The era of cheap energy is over" and "boiled down to a single word, the business case for energy efficiency can be summed up as 'competitiveness.'"
Efficiency and energy strategies can be spurred by a variety of reasons including increasing energy prices, carbon legislation, financial opportunities, and corporate citizenship. Regardless of the reason, the most effective plans include distributed information, quantitative goals, and full team commitment.
