With the ability to instantly view electricity use and associated costs, Agentis is removing the guess work surrounding your pending bill. Acuity Energy Platform sends you alerts when demand is reaching a new threshold, and you can quantify process improvements in real time.

    Your personalized Acuity Energy Platform will be loaded with previous electrical usage information and additional data sources we funnel into the platform to provide additional analysis and reporting. This data is typically available from your local utility. The real time nature of the platform starts when we install our data collection technologies at your facility. The Acuity Energy Platform is a web-based solution that requires no software support and has near zero impact on your IT department. Using password controlled access you can now view your company’s energy information from anywhere in the world at anytime.

    Historic-Level (Acuity Base)

    Real-time data is important to any monitoring and management strategy, but past usage data available from your electricity provider is needed to establish a baseline and provide context for current and future usage. Most utilities provide a low cost, or free file of your historic demand and usage in short intervals (15-30 minutes). This information, when processed correctly can provide instant opportunities for savings. Production shifting, demand analysis, optimal bill structure, and curtailment opportunities can be easily understood with Acuity Base. Agentis works with you to simplify acquiring, loading, and understanding this data.


    Facility-Level (Acuity Apex)

    The Acuity facility-level hardware allows customers a low cost view of ongoing building level consumption in real time. By working in conjunction with a utility supplied KYZ pulse output meter, our Apex Power Sensors send your kW information directly to our server through a secure Ethernet connection. Your energy information is delivered to you through the Acuity Energy Platform. Acuity Apex is a cost effective and simple to install means to view facility-level information as it is happening. Platform analytics, reporting, and alerts combined with loaded historical bill data will provide immediate opportunities for savings.

  • Device-Level (Acuity Granular)

    The Granular Power Sensors are ideal for customers seeking energy data at the load level or wanting to sub-meter portions of their facility. The Granular Power Sensors are capable of working with single or three-phase power, and are an easy to install, self-configuring wireless power meter. The Granular Power Sensors securely communicate energy data through a mesh network to the Acuity Energy Platform.

    The Acuity Mesh Network is comprised of the Acuity Router, Granular Power Sensors and potentially Acuity Extender Nodes if large distances need to be traversed. The mesh has demonstrated high noise immunity and can send data distances of up to 100 feet between connection points. The network runs on the 802.15, 6LoWPAN standard, combining a highly secure connection is secured with 128-bit AES encryption.

    Agentis Energy will provide an onsite supervisor to ensure proper installation of all necessary enabling hardware. Additionally each customer receives their own energy analyst who provides the following services:

    • Work with customer to acquire historical interval data from customer’s utility
    • Run interval data through analysis engine and report on the findings
    • Assist customer in understanding their utility bill
    • Load customers interval data into the Acuity Energy Platform
    • Quarterly data review with energy analyst
    • Training and support for all facets of the Acuity Energy Platform
